Image Size: Your photo size is very important. Your photo must be at least 2000kb or greater -OR- 1MB or greater. If you are unsure of your photos size follow these instructions: A. Right click on your image B. Choose properties C. Your file size is listed under size.

Scanning your Photos: If scanning your photo from an original picture... the picture's original size must be no smaller than a 4x6. Do not scan wallets. You must scan your photo at no lower than 300 -or- 600 DPI. For further instructions on scanning your photo please click here.

Digital Cameras:When using your digital camera to take photos for a Fotos-2- Art reproduction set your camera to at least 2 mega pixels for the best quality. If unsure of the mega pixels setting on your camera just set your camera to it's highest quality.

No Web Images: Do not upload a saved image off of the internet. Web images do not have the proper resolution needed. Example: Do not upload images saved off of myspace....please upload the original picture from your computer.

No Camera Phone Images: Do not upload camera phone images. They do not have the image quality needed for a Fotos-2-Art reproduction.

Image Quality:Your photo cannot be blurry! Blurry photos create blurry artwork. Your photo must be sharp and clear. Your photo must be in focus- out of focus photos cannot be fixed!

Subject Quality: Your subject must be close enough in the picture to see clear sharp details. A rule of thumb is that the subject should take up at least 1/3 of the photo(you must be able to see the eyes clearly - ex. eyelashes etc). Our artist cannot paint details that they cannot see clearly in your photo.
